About Arron

Arron Kuiper was born in 1984 in rural North Wales where he grew up and has lived for most of his life. He studied Fine Art at Licester De Montfort University before transferring to Cardiff School of Art and Design. He graduated in 2011.

He is best known for inventing and developing a unique gel-based medium he terms ‘Sculptural Painting,’ which has constituted his main practice for over a decade. Arron’s work has earned multiple national awards, has been widely shown across the U.K., and has also featured in numerous national and international publications.

Arron moved back home to North Wales in 2016 where he continues to work in a shed in the middle of the woods.
