Self Portrait
2012
This is the first and only self portrait I have produced in this medium. I tend to produce a drawing of myself every now again; not out of vanity (though some will probably differ), but more because self portraiture presents different challenges than producing normal portraits might, especially when working in a new medium. The leafless tree behind the mask of my face is a surrealist aspect, which I think was meant to indicate my mind state in this first year after graduating.
